Darjeeling teas are picked 5 times each year. The first flush, or spring picking, is most prized because the plants sit dormant through winter slowly building nutrients and flavor. This darjeeling features crisp green notes, pine accents and a classic muscatel bouquet. The golden light brown liquor offers up a very well balanced cup with the perfect amount of cleansing astringency. This tea is made from the leaves of tea bushes planted between 4,000 and 6,000 feet in elevation.
